The groundbreaking BioRePeel acid skin peel

What is the BioRePeel

BioRePeel is a groundbreaking bi-phase TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peel with a bio-stimulating, revitalising, and peeling action. It promotes cell turnover and offers profound stimulation, restoring the structure of the skin to counter the effects of skin ageing, acne, and other scarring through its exfoliating and keratolytic action.

The composition of BioRePeel CL3 sets it apart from other chemical peels. It is an excellent anti-ageing treatment thanks to the fact that it contains the full range of essential amino acids and vitamins your skin needs. The product contains 35% TCA as well as GABA, a muscle relaxant that reduces lines and wrinkles. It is also suitable for use on young skin with active acne, blackheads, and recent or fresh scarring.

BioRePeel is an extremely safe and effective treatment that offers immediate, proven results. It’s suitable for use on all skin types and all areas of the body, and no pain, scarring, or needles are required.

BioRePeel treatment questions, answered

  • BioRePeel Developed by CMed Aesthetics (Italy) is an innovative peel treatment, using 2-phase technology that taps into the power of bio-stimulation, revitalisation, and peeling substances to rejuvenate the skin.

It adopts a unique, non-invasive approach aimed at addressing a myriad of skin concerns, ranging from acne and enlarged pores to signs of ageing and uneven skin texture. This treatment delivers a strategic combination of active ingredients to stimulate skin cells, promote exfoliation, boost hydration, and enhance collagen production. The outcome is a revitalised complexion, reflecting the holistic wellness of your skin.

    The Traditional Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are dermatological procedures designed to rejuvenate the skin by facilitating the shedding of damaged surface layers. They employ a solution of acid-based chemicals that stimulate the exfoliation process, effectively peeling away layers of dead skin cells when applied to the skin. The result is a revelation of newer, healthier skin layers beneath.

Chemical peels can address a multitude of skin concerns, including signs of ageing, sun damage, acne, and uneven skin texture. They come in varying intensities – light, medium, and deep – each offering a different degree of skin penetration and subsequent recovery time.

  • BioRePeel works on the skin in 4 different ways, which are reflected in the peel’s name:

    1. Bio: Biostimulation Amino acids glycine, proline, hydroxyproline and Vitamin C stimulate fibroblast activity in the skin and cutaneous proliferation (the development of fresh new skin cells).

    2. Re: Revitalisation GABA Arginine and Vitamin B2 offer an anti-wrinkle effect, encouraging the skin to look fresher with a healthy glow.

    3. Peel: The active ingredients within the peel removes the outer cells of the skin revealing fresher, healthier and less congested complexion.

    4. LIPO Complex: BioRePeel also includes a moisturising complex which gives the skin a velvety soft texture when the peel is removed.

  • This innovative chemical peel can treat a wide range of skin concerns, such as:

    • Fine lines & wrinkles

    • Hyperpigmentation

    • Uneven skin texture

    • Uneven skin tone

    • Acne, including active acne

    • Acne scarring

    • Large pores

    • Blackheads

  • Unlike traditional chemical peels that primarily rely on the peeling action of their acid components, BioRePeel utilises a unique blend of active ingredients, each playing a critical role in skin rejuvenation.

These include trichloroacetic acid (TCA) for improving the texture and appearance of the skin, alpha, beta and poly hydroxy acids for combating acne and skin brightening, and a combination of vitamins, amino acids and GABA for reducing lines and wrinkles and countering the effects of skin ageing by UV radiation and pollution .

BioRePeel prevents the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other symptoms of ageing on the skin. In addition to stimulating fibroblasts (cells that maintain tension and firmness), it increases cell turnover and collagen production for long-lasting effects.

  • Advice Before Treatment

Are you gearing up for a BioRePeel treatment? Let’s take a moment to discuss some handy tips to prepare your skin for the best possible outcome.

Preparing Your Skin: Imagine priming a canvas before you start a masterpiece—pretty important, right? Based on your skincare professional’s guidance, you might need to tweak your skincare routine. Some products, particularly those containing vitamin A derivatives like retinol, might need to hit the bench for a while. They could increase your skin’s sensitivity, and we don’t want that.

Avoid the Sun: Excessive sun exposure can leave your skin more susceptible to sensitivity, so let’s put off those beach days and tanning bed sessions for a couple of weeks before your treatment.

Hydration: Remember that one secret weapon for radiant skin? Water! Staying hydrated is the golden rule of skincare. Picture your skin as a thirsty plant—water helps it thrive and bloom. So, ensure you’re gulping down enough water before and after your treatment.

With these simple yet effective tips, you’re ready to get the most out of your BioRePeel treatment. Are you prepared to reveal your skin’s true potential? Let’s go for it!

    On The Day

The BioRePeel procedure is straightforward and involves the following steps:

Skin Preparation: Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or impurities. This ensures that the BioRePeel solution can effectively penetrate your skin.

Applying The Solution: The specialist will apply the BioRePeel solution to your skin using a special brush or applicator. The solution contains a unique blend of bio-stimulating, revitalising, and peeling substances, including several acids (like trichloroacetic, citric, and salicylic), amino acids, and vitamins.

Absorption: The BioRePeel solution is left on your skin to be absorbed. The active ingredients invigorate your skin cells, akin to awakening them from a deep slumber. The result is a virtuous circle of exfoliation, hydration, and collagen production. You may feel some mild tingling during this stage.

Removal: Advance the clock to about 5 to 10 minutes – the conventional duration for the BioRePeel solution to enact its beneficial properties. The solution is carefully removed, and following this, a gentle cleanse ensures a clean, refreshed canvas – your skin, primed and ready for its continued journey towards beauty and health.

    Advice Post Treatment

Following the correct aftercare procedure can help enhance the results of your BioRePeel treatment and minimise potential side effects. Here are some post-treatment instructions to keep in mind:

Avoid Direct Sun Exposure: Shield your skin from direct sunlight for several days. Consider it a crucial part of the recovery process, as if you’re offering your skin a much-needed respite. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of at least 30.

Stay Hydrated: Keeping your skin hydrated aids in its recovery process.

Skincare Products: For a few days after the procedure, it’s best to avoid harsh skincare products or treatments. This includes products with high concentrations of retinol, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid.

Do Not Pick or Scratch: After the treatment, you may experience some mild peeling or dryness. It’s crucial not to pick or scratch your skin during this time to avoid scarring or pigmentation issues.

Healthy Lifestyle: A healthy lifestyle contributes to better skin health. Maintain a balanced diet, regular exercise, and adequate sleep to support your skin’s natural recovery and rejuvenation processes.
